Crested Butte is a biker's heaven - there's bikes everywhere: mountain bikes, cruisers, even road bikes. The locals commute on bikes, and every house and business has a bike rack in the front.
Mountain biking around Crested Butte is plentiful and awesome: unlimited miles of buff singletrack thru Rocky Mountain scenery which easily rates a 10. Katy said it best about the scenery: "I could just lay down in the flowers, roll around, and cry."
We visited Crested Butte in July during their "spring," and also during their annual Wildflower Festival (there were insane amounts of wildflowers everywhere).
